Benefits of Hot Tubs
Somewhere between splendor and sensible ideas lies the portable spa. It can seem like an ultimate extravagance in your home, and something that’s reserved only for very special occasions, to celebrate a new job, or a new child. It can also be an elegant daily extravagance, something that you promise for yourself, where you’ll take at least 10 minutes at the end of every work day, and enjoy a little time to reflect and meditate in the tub. However, it can also be a therapeutic tool, and something that you have to use every day, for various health problems, or general sore muscles. As a way of relieving stress and tension, hot tubs, spas, and all their variations are extremely useful, and get to the source of the stress quickly and take it away quickly.
There are many different reasons for buying one, and many benefits to having one, and these will all make themselves known the longer you use it, but it won’t take long before the occasional luxury will become frequent. You do deserve the experience every day, and besides, the health benefits are really terrific. There is an increase in circulation, which helps all the systems to function better, and addresses the body in its wholeness. There is also relief for high blood pressure, benefit to aching muscles, and it helps to deepen the sleep cycles. After repetitive use, people start to become used to sleeping longer and deeper, too, with very dramatic results.
There are many results, too, besides the physical ones. The feeling of satisfaction when you have the chance to relax whenever you like is very hard to beat. But there are also great side effects, like an easier social life. It’s very simple to throw together a party when there’s a spa in your yard, and they tend to bring out curiosity among neighbors and friends. And when people are together at close quarters, there tends to be more lively conversation, because everybody is paying attention to everybody. All these positive changes are possible when the portable spa comes into your home.
Taking the Wife to Alaska
I guess the time has come for a trip to Alaska. For years my wife has been after me to take us to Alaska. She has some romantic idea of the frozen north and the rugged and wild land of Alaska. This started many years ago. I think it has something to do with a TV show she watched. Not really sure, all I know is one day I began to hear about going to Alaska and several years latter I am still hearing it. So I suppose if I am ever going to end the constant requests for going to Alaska we are going to have to go.
Next summer is going to be it. I’ll have enough vacation time to take two weeks off and the kids are old enough to be left home alone so we can enjoy our vacation on our own without the kids. My wife is insisting on getting reservations at a luxury hotels Alaska, I am saying what about roughing it, the wild, the great north. How are you going to be able to get the real experience in the luxury of a 5 star luxury hotel? Well she is sure she will get all the rugged feel she needs by site seeing and taking day adventures and that staying in a luxury hotel won’t spoil a thing. Well I am going to keep on working on the rugged angle, if I can convince her to stay in a motel we could save ourselves a bundle of money. It will be interesting to see how this one turns out and weather we stay in a motel or luxury hotel.
With our plane tickets already purchased now all I am hearing about is how we are finally going. After all these years of her asking we are finally going she keeps telling me. Like I haven’t been here the whole time listening to her ask about going? Well I am glad we will be able to go and I am certain she will be very happy with our trip where ever we stay and it will give her something to talk about for a long time.
Business Trip to Singapore Turns Into Romantic Getaway For Husband and Wife
Last year Wendy and her husband David had become rather frustrated with the amount of business travel he had to take every year. Meanwhile, Wendy’s hectic and demanding nursing career left her unable to go with him on any of his trips. This was compounded by the fact that her schedule was often at conflict with David’s while he was actually in town. After a few arguments and a great deal of conversation, the two of them decided that they could afford for Wendy to take something of a work sabbatical for two months and during that time she would be able to go with David on a business trip to Singapore.
Meanwhile, David had never really been much of a fan of his business travel needs as it only served to keep him from his wife, family and friends. However, he had never before been to Singapore, and with the added aspect of being able to bring Wendy, he was actually looking forward to going to Singapore. The couple decided to stay an extra three days so they could experience the city together and not have to worry about the meetings or other work related events.
In addition, they decided to book their stay in one of the 5 star Singapore hotels so that Wendy would be able to enjoy the luxury accommodations it provided on the mornings she stayed in while David worked. However, she did get out in the afternoon and really enjoyed walks along the marina and also spent some time in the Fort Canning Green park. She was really impressed with the herb spice garden and felt such a sense of peace there that she talked David into going with her to see an out door movie in the Starlight Cinema. This trip proved to be just what the couple needed and they enjoyed romantic candle lit dinners in the top Singapore restaurants and were amazed at the skill level involved with the Cantonese Opera.
Smuggling in Melbourne
Finally left New Zealand and was sad to be leaving, but I was so excited to be seeing Joan and Saul in Melbourne. My flight was the first flight where I was actually greeted by a friendly face waiting for me when I arrive. Joan picked me up in her big Land Rover and she sped me across town to one of the top Melbourne hotels. This hotel wasn’t like any of my other accommodations I’ve had so far. I found myself in the luxury of a very posh hotel.
Joan and I had a lot of catching up to do and we chatted all night. It almost felt like we were back where we both grew up together. I had to take a double-take when I thought about how we both are now on the other side of the world and we haven’t seen each other for over 2 years. We spent the next two days exploring Melbourne and she showed me how to get around on the trams. We Went to the National Gallery, we checked out the library and I saw Ned Kelly’s Armour. We went to some very cool restaurants and cafes to eat and drink. Saul finally joined us after he got off work.
That’s when we all went on the ferry over to Tasmania! To get there we all went in their Land Rover and headed out of Melbourne to the Ferry, that took us over night to Devonport on the north coast of Tasmania. There were some strangest rules about transporting fruits and vegetables around the country. When we got on the ferry we were warned about having any with us. My friends had no idea about this rules. Joan and Saul didn’t seem worried. We crossed the water smoothly and when we arrived to the other side, we got slapped with a fine for having all our fruit and veggies. I will never smuggle again!
